No one's been on here in forever, but I finally went to my first concert, so I wanted to share the experience with you all. The 1975 was awesome!
@Lamoni, I was hoping your show in Illinois a bunch of years ago with The Downtown Fiction and Stephen Jerzak (and I forgot what other artists) was going to be my first concert, but it wasn't. @wijangco12 and I are sorry.

Update on that paper I wrote in less than 24 hours: I got a 95%. Maybe I should write papers in a day more often. (Just kidding. It sucks. Don't do it. It's so stressful.)

@chelsiesparks I'm done reading the book about trolling I had to read for my English class, and it was interesting. I didn't really know anything about trolling before reading it, so I learned a lot from it. I had no idea there was a relationship between trolling and the media and trolling and the American culture in general. If you have time to check it out, I'd say it's worth the read.

Today (October 8) is my 20th birthday! And what I would like for my birthday this year is help raising money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. I am participating in one of their Out of the Darkness Walks this Saturday and would love if you guys could help out and spread the word.

It's October 1st, so that means it's officially breast cancer awareness month. (And one week until my birthday. 😊)

Anyway, when I found out Lokai was selling pink limited edition bracelets for breast cancer awareness and to raise money for Susan G. Komen, I knew I had to get one because it's pink and is for a good cause. So thanks, @wijangco12 for the early birthday present. 👍

My lola (grandma) may not have had breast cancer, but she's still my #lokaihero. She did so much for me, but I was too young to realize how valuable it all was before she died and I missed the opportunity to thank her for it all. 💓

But I do know people whose lives have been affected by breast cancer, so I also wear this bracelet for them, for their strength, for their courage and hope. #livelokai

Good news and bad news in the world of action sports today.

Good news: skateboarding and surfing are still contenders for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Bad news: Dew Tour might cease to exist.

I'm all for skateboarding and surfing in the Olympics (though I still don't like the idea of competing on artificial waves), but I really hope Dew Tour doesn't cease to exist.

So I'm not a gymnast, and I never have been, but it's my favorite sport and I fit in a children's leotard that's pink and pretty (and less than $20), so I had a mini photoshoot with @wijangco12 for her journalism assignment and pretended to be a gymnast, because I admit that I am a wannabe gymnast.

Happy National Gymnastics Day! Go ahead and try to do a cartwheel or something, but please don't hurt yourself. (:
