The worst part of working the 6 AM shift isn't getting up early or feeling like you're going to fall asleep on your register. It's all the morning people shopping at 6 AM who assume that, because you're conscious, you're also a morning person, and you will enjoy their stupid jokes.
I don't enjoy them, morning people, I just work here.
